Yet, female architects such as Zaha Hadid, Patricia Urquiola, and Kazuyo Sejima making their mark on the international stage today are perfect role models of how to navigate the challenges of the industry to produce consistently ground-breaking work.

In Singapore, there is an increasing number of noteworthy female architects who, either in their own capacity or working with partners, have risen above the challenges to create exemplary architecture in various spheres.
